Fixed Price Turnkey Projects
In this business model AFORE Solutions will deliver a complete product that meets the customers product requirements within a mutually agreed project time frame. The customers will pay AFORE Solutions a pre-negotiated price based on the estimated engineering effort.
The processes involved in this business model typically include the following major steps:
Time and Material
Under this model, the project cost is based on a pre-negotiated hourly rate and an estimated budget of the time required. Effort is billed on a regular (typically monthly) basis until the project is completed or the customer terminates the project. This model is suited for projects where the scope of work is not well defined or understood. Some examples: a technical feasibility study, a front-end project scope and investigation and bug fixing (software or hardware). Once the project scope and requirements are defined, the customer can convert the project from a time metering to a turnkey service.
Share Risk and Reward
AFORE Solutions is open to a shared risk and reward model for strategic projects in which AFORE Solutions assumes some investment and is entitled to share rewards through royalties and/or licensing agreements.
