InterPort™ OAM Software Solution

The InterPort™ OAM software solution consists of key protocol software required to deliver fault management and performance management required by Carrier Ethernet products including:

  • Link OAM per IEEE802.3ah for link monitoring and fault management
  • Service OAM per IEEE802.1ag and ITU Y.1731 for both fault management and performance management
  • MAC Status Protocol per IEEE802.1aj for enhanced fault management of Ethernet NIDs

InterPort™ Protection Software Solution

The InterPort™ protection software suite supports various protection mechanisms required by different network topologies and network applications including:
